Welcome to my Andrea Mentagna website, where you can find out about different concerns, including information on the life of Mentagna, and also a few samples of his most famous art.

If you click on the pictures to the left, you can enlarge them for better viewing, and make out the best of the detail Mentagna put into his art to make them the up most greatest. You may recognise some of his most famous art, such as Adoration Of The Shepard's, Calvary and St Sebastian. For more sample art, click on either the gallery section, or the links at the bottom left of the site.

The thumbnails on the left can be clicked, and open up in a new window at normal size, so you can view each and every little detail Mentagna put into his art.

My personal favourite of Mentagna is Suite Of Cardinal Francesco. The animals are painted very well and in great detail, and is well worth a look. It should be able to be found at artchive, a huge archive of different pieces of art relating to many, many artists.

I like the backdrops in Mentagna's paintings, they provide a real atmosphere, which I can't really describe ( ? ) - this can only be understood by going to either the Gallery of this site, or the Mentagna section on Artchive.

There are plenty of resources on the internet where you can find out about Mentagna, just click here to see a list of search results found on google.

Please take your time surfing the site, and feel free to email me with any comments or suggestions you think would come in handy when updating the site (doubt I will), all emails are greatly appreciated, and all will be read, even if not put to use.

In the navigation box, home will bring you to this page, About will have a short bio and an introduction the life of Andrea Mentagna The gallery section has a few pictures of Mentagna artwork, but like I said before, you should go to Artchive or the search results for the biggest resources.
