Modern British Art
In these pages you will explore of a number of artist loosely described as abstract. All of them worked in Britain.
You will use the internet, making your own art and two worksheets. The images on these pages are pastiches- you will make some. A pastiche is not a copy of a painting. It is an original painting in the STYLE of the artist. It is a good way of learning about the artist style. The Links Library will take you to sites that contain all the information you will need. The best Internet resource is provide by the Tate Gallery.   If there are any references you don't understand use the Internet to explore them.
